In this chapter we discuss a path surrounded by nature, also marked by man's hand, the suggestive Walk of Caglieron Caves.
The Walk of Caglieron Caves is a pleasant and very characteristic excursion, in fact, anyone, even children, can take it, paying attention only to some stretches. It is a magical path where, both nature and man, have sculpted these environments transforming and shaping them over time.
The excursion is suitable for anyone and the route is always very popular, especially on weekends. Pay attention to the ice that forms during the winter. We recommend a calm pace to enjoy the wonderful landscape that will surround you.
The Caglieron Caves are mostly located in a deep gorge created and engraved over time by the stream of the same name. On some walls of the gorge there are large artificial cavities, which have their origin in the extraction of sandstone, also known as "Piera Dolza", a cut stone used in construction for frames and jambs up to 1500.
Along the various caves, given the significant slopes that the streams and numerous waterfalls have created, a pedestrian path has been created with pretty bridges.
