The Vicenza City Center

The province is dotted with small and medium-sized enterprises driven by the gold sector, which crowns it as the Italian capital of gold processing and pushes it among the top places in Italy for its turnover in exports.

Its historic center is enriched by noble palaces and prestigious structures, which enhance and embellish this elegant city, loved by tourists from all over the world and by the nice people from Vicenza who live there.

A true jewel nestled in the heart of the Veneto region, which jealously guards a mix of history and traditions, thanks also to the awareness and re-respect of the environment, which has managed to maintain aesthetic and architectural characteristics still in keeping with the surrounding landscape.

The historic center of Vicenza was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1994, thanks to the great contribution of Andrea Palladio. Located south of the center of Vicenza we find the famous Berici Hills, which reach a maximum of 445 meters above sea level and have a generally soft morphology, with the exception of some sections that are affected by rocky parts.

Dominating the landscape of the Berici Hills, already framed by woods, vineyards and olive groves, are the numerous Palladian country villas, designed and built for landowners, and above all stands the large Madonna's Sanctuary of Mount Berico, a destination for pilgrimages from all Italy.
