A territory nestled in the hills and embroidered with vineyards, which offers typical and famous products all over the world, do not miss Breganze.

Breganze is a curious town that rises in the Vicenza foothills, between the green hills and the Po valley and, like all the surrounding municipalities, it was a fiefdom of the Ezzelini family. Particularly fertile lands, thanks also to the awareness and re-appearance of the territory, which has managed to maintain aesthetic and architectural characteristics still quite in tune with the surrounding landscape.

A hilly area full of typical food and wine products, expertly collected and processed according to local traditions, among these gentle Vicenza slopes. This small inhabited center is very famous for the Torcolato wine, a particular wine with a golden color, obtained from the pressing of vespaiole grapes dried in January.

The cultivation of this plant takes place between the valleys of the Astico river and those of the Brenta river, near Bassano del Grappa. To characterize this territory is a climate very favorable to cultivation, which is distinguished by hot summers and relatively cold winters, and with constant rainfall all year round.

The first evidence dates back to the period of the Republic of Venice, and continues over time through the famous authorities who stayed in these parts, such as Charles V and Pope Clement VII, in return, obtained a considerable number of wine barrels as a gift.

The typical village festival, called "Prima del Torcolato", is held on the third Sunday of January and is also the first wine event of the year. The Fiera di San Martino is a small village fair that takes place in November. The church of Santa Maria Assunta is located in the square of Breganze, it is a neoclassical construction, with a solemn entrance portal. Next to it stands the bell tower, built between 1840 and 1882, and is 90 meters high, the third highest in Veneto and the fourteenth highest in Italy.
