In this chapter we discuss the lively, surprising and characteristic Portogruaro, located on the borders of the province of Venice.

Portogruaro, located a few kilometers from the Friuli Venezia Giulia region, is crossed by the river Lemene, which offers to the most curious tourists different interesting views.

Its peculiarities are the ancient buildings, the thirteenth-century walls and the numerous palaces in Italian and Renaissance gothic style, which witness the different historical moments that have marked this city.Not to be missed are: the Molini di Sant'Andrea with its weeping willows, along the river Lemene, the fourteenth-century Municipale Palace in the Repubblica Square and the Duomo, which houses some paintings by Palma the Younger.
