In this chapter we discuss one of the typical Venezia cities, by walking through its streets you can breathe its great history: we are talking about Dolo.
Dolo is a small Venetian town located almost on the border with the province of Padua. It extends on the banks of the Brenta Canal or Brenta Vecchia, a minor branch of the Brenta river of about 28 kilometers, which starts from Stra and flows into the Venetian lagoon. Its territory, immersed in the wonderful Riviera del Brenta, is part of those territories that the Republic of Venice conquered in the fifteenth century for the nobles of the Serenissima, who built wonderful villas here.
