In this chapter we discuss one of the most famous and extraordinary locations for the production of Veneto red wine, Sant'Ambrogio di Valpolicella.
Sant'Ambrogio di Valpolicella is 18 km from Verona and is known worldwide for its green hills embroidered by the vineyards of Valpolicella, a real heritage to admire and conserve. It is also renowned for the production and processing of marble, so much so that over time a "Marble School" was opened for young people in the area. Nearby we find many farmhouse and typical Veronese trattorias, which offer comfortable accommodation and a wide range of typical dishes to savor. Not far from Sant'Ambrogio di Valpolicella we find one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, San Giorgio di Valpolicella.
